Victorius the Wizard

At scarcely an inch above six feet tall, Victorius is neither very tall, nor short. His frame is muscular, from chores and learning the weapons he carries. His hair is a normal shade of blondish brown, and his eyes are crystal blue, from the use of minor magics as he grew up. His skin is darker than most, but lighter than some, so that it shows clearly his ancestry from those who were mighty in magic. While not considered plain, or rough, Victorius is more aptly described as striking, since he is difficult to forget. Since Magic is in his blood, Victorius has determined to become a Battle Mage, like his father. The study of fighting is something that his mother encouraged, and since she explained that it was what his father had wanted, Victorius never lost the chance to work with the staff, the dagger, the short sword and even to armor himself as well as he might, so that he could honor his sire. He learned magic while he labored on the farm, from passing mages who had known his father, and were only too willing to pass along what knowledge he could absorb. His spell book is not empty, nor is his scabbard. He is not without means, but is by no means wealthy. He was taught that to ally himself with others is to give his approval of them, and so he is cautious in his friendships, and loyal to the death. Not given to drink, or other recreational substances, Victorius prefers the company of friends, a small amount of wine, and women to sing with. While he is a friendly sort, and his friends may enjoy his company, it is well not to test him, because that which is evil, or seeks to harm the innocent, will find short shrift, and ever be sorry to have done so.
