I have read several stories like this and I could not believe the idiocy of some people, specially parents. It's amazing to me that as a mom of a special needs son who uses an ADHD drug and want to stop, there are people out there willing to use it regardless of all the risks associated with it and not even for the true purpose!
It is a fight and a frustration to get my son to eat while on meds, I just cannot understand how someone in their right mind would be willing to risk of dying of sudden death, chromosomal abnormalities, breathing and heart problems just for the sake of losing weight!
Scientists do not even know how exactly the drug works or affect the brain!
It's definitly not ethical to use these drugs for that purpose, a very dangerous practice.
