If you need to borrow money quickly, and you do not want to go to a financial institution then who will you most likely choose (see poll above)?

Definitely a friend. If your friend is a *real* friend, he/she will lend you the money without a whole set of questions as probably relatives would ask. Not to mention that relatives tend to make a drama out of nothing so I would choose a friend to also keep a little bit my privacy.

I chose "Boss." Actually, it depends on how much I need to borrow. If it's less than $100 I'd go to a friend or my parents. More than that, my boss has much deeper pockets.

A friend for sure. true friends allow you to confide in them when there is a need, especially when borrowing something that is so close to a man's heart: money.

I'd go to my Mum and Dad if I needed to borrow money quickly. The only draw back is that I'd probably have to give a full explanation, and feel a bit embarrassed about it, but if it was only a tiny amount, I guess I'd ask a friend.
I know that if it were the other way round, I'd be quite happy to lend to a friend with no questions asked!
