Thanks Krakyn, I am not fond about Gelatin and the whole bone-animal thingie. But I will give a try if it really helps my problem. You have to see it! It's HUGE and just started to fade very slowly but looking awful. I never had one so big before and I hardly hit my leg on the bed! JB took a picture of it, he may put it when he gets a chance. Thanks for the suggestions.
I may be in the minority here but I always believe in the good fashion remedies to cure, rehabilitate and strengthen: EXERCISE, proper diet and rest. If you bruise easily it may be linked to being 'too tender'.
I emphasize the exercise part because that is how your body becomes stronger - exertion causes it to expand muscle, give density to bones, cause the blood to flow faster, oxygen to help burn waste, etc.
Anyway, here is a picture of it. The bruised area must be about three inches or more across.

That is a nasty bit.
Yes JB there is truth in what you say about exercise and toughening up the body. It takes consistent effort an good example of this is a person who breaks a 6 Inch wood slap with their head or hand (open or closed). They are unmarred after as the built their skin, muscle and bone up to that point by repeated exposure to light blows ever increasing in hardness.
