Remembering when you were a baby? Can you? Most people cannot. Some people claim they can.

How Far Back Do You Remember?

Sometimes we have flashes of thought back to our childhood. Glimpses of mom and dad towering over us, giving us food, a bath, or toy seems to be sketchy in our minds.

How far back can you remember in your childhood and what do you remember?

Some people claim to remember all the way back to as early as two!

Remember Do Far How

I remember some few moments when I was 3 years old. But mostly since I was 4 years old. I remember how the girls in kindergarten used to close me up in the bathroom, they were wicked lol. I remember a lot how my uncles used to take me for ice cream and get anything I wanted it. I have such a great memories when I was a kid that I will treasure them forever in my heart...

Well I remember a certain instance  as far as 2 1/2 to 3. I only know this because we used to move so much when I was small and my mother said that based on the place I descirbed and what I was doing that I was that age.

Looking back, the most memorable times were birthdays, Christmas and special occassions.

I'm wonder if the reason you remember these special occasions is because of the gifts you used to receive. lol wink.gif
I heard someone saying you used to get up before 6:00am on Christmas Day biggrin.gif
I didn't know you was so 'Christian' since such a early age *hehehe* wink.gif

Remember Do Far How

I can remember as far back as age 2½ or maybe almost 3.  My dad had taken my mom to the hospital to give birth to my younger sister.  I remember one of my aunts and my uncle were there babysitting me.  I remember it distinctly because, they were discussing how to get rid of the mouse that had gotten caught in one of the mouse traps.

How Far Do Remember

I didn't know how young I was, until my Mom told me. But I did remember 'being sent' to live my aunt (my Mom's sister) and uncle in another state. I guess I was homesick, missed my brothers and sisters and my parents, but my aunt can afford more and my parents were struggling to make ends meet then. Because I was so young, they made me memorised my aunt's address and I can still remember it till today! And mind you, it was said in another dialect different from my family's. Not bad, huh? My Mom said I was sent there when I was just 3 yrs old, and I lived with them until I turned 5 yrs old. So, I guess my memory goes way back to 3?

I don't remember much before the age of 6, except for two distinct occurrences around the age of 4.

Plus, I had dreams of events.  One that I described to my mother happened almost the way I dreamed it, when I was almost 3.

The other dream was of a person (my great-grandfather) and place that we visited ....when my mother was pregnant with me.  Explain that one!
