Can you get sick from being at the Doctor's Office if other people there are sick too?

I think so, especially if they are carrying an air born virus, or if you touch something that somebody else has touched whilst carrying an infection.
All it takes really is somebody not washing their hands or being less than hygienic.

Yes indeed just as DianeC explained. Actually, this is why I dread going to the doctor! Whenever I am in the waiting room, I feel worse not to mention miserable, since everyone is coughing and sneezing all over the place, without covering their mouth or using a handkerchief! You will be amazed at how quickly viruses are spread in a small area (such as a waiting room).
However, there are two ways to avoid becoming sick at the Doctor's Office: wear a dusk mask while in the waiting room or wait outside the office away from everyone.
