Vincenzo the man doesn't care, he's an attention seeker and he's willing to do anything for a little time in camera with Oprah and the big bucks she's willing to pay (shame on her by the way). The guy will be in jail for just 9 years so he wants to ensure he will be taken care of after he fulfills his time because the whole issue that got him in trouble in the first place was the fact that he was broke!

He wont get much if any money from that interview as he still owes Fred Goldman a small fortune. It is the reason that his TV Show or book about "what if" never left the launching pad. He would be confessing for nothing because Goldman would get basically all proceeds from the effort. Goldman was smart for putting OJ through the Civil Court as it has made it awefully inconvenient for The Juice to profit from his memories and never ending efforts to find the real killers!
On a side note, now that it sounds like he is going to admit he had something to do with the deaths of Nicole and Ron, it does explain his playing golf so much to find the killers. The killer was in every foursome he played with...

The Nevada Parole Board has granted O.J. Simpson parole on some charges stemming from 2008 armed robbery convictions, but he won't immediately get out of prison. Ref. CNN
