GOOGLE UNIFIES SEARCH RESULTS

Google Inc. said on Wednesday it is combining its different Web search services into one "Universal Search" service that will present Web sites, news, video and other results on one page.

I have started seeing this already. I searched for something today (normal web search) and was surprised to see Google offering me to see a video of the topic. It even had a little thumbnail as an incentive. I wonder how this will affect search results now? Maybe people will be rushing to put audio and video on their sites to enhance search results?
