Search Infoseek
What was the point of infoseek anyway? I never found what I needed, and it seemed old and outdated long before it was superseded by the likes of Lycos and Alta Vista. It has always been more like someones pet project than a real search engine that had valid uses. But, it was one of the first, so I guess it deserves some recognition for getting themselves out there.
