Future Email
In the year 2009, on the 25th of April, a man named Greg is supposed to get an e-mail. The e-mail will remind Greg that he is his best friend and worst enemy, that he once dated a woman named Michelle, and that he planned to major in computer science. "More importantly," the e-mail says, "are you wearing women's clothing?" The e-mail was sent by none other than Greg himself...

Hmmm, a internet time capsule, how interesting. But that last email one is kinda creepy, I understand the comfort it's supposed to provide, but if I forgot about it, then one day I get an email from my dead father. Thats not funny. quit laughing at me.
I think that is pretty cool. I always remember doing the whole time capsule thing when I was in middle school. Remember the past is important to me, but I do agree that it can be upsetting at times. I could only imagine forgetting about that email and then one day recieving it. Reading what your future plans were and then comparing who you are at that time would be interesting.
I think thats a really niffty idea. I like to write letters to myself on my birthday and pick a random date to open them but I tend to forget where they are (or when I should try to find them), so I just sent one of them to myself to arrive in 2009. I think handwritten letters are more fun though, it is interesting to see how my spelling and handwriting have not improved since probably 8th grade although my signature has.
