[party Order] Protect Meh Sheep - Page 8

The group staying low smother the fire and quickly mount taking what they need with them. Mounted on burdened horses and riding low as possible they head to the farm since it is closest refuge they can find.

Once there wound will be cleansed and all assessed for requirement of medical attention. As wounds are tended to the evening adventure is relayed to the farmer and Sophia. Beowolf will inquire more closely as to who the farmer might have unfinished business with both past and present.

Food will be had the cooked chicken ate if edible other wise what can be found. Sleep for the wounded and the farmer asked if he can keep an open eye for a few hours to ensure none have followed.

Sheep Meh Protect Order party

After breakfast Daphne, Kalfie, Klar and Beowolf head back to the ambush site. Klar and Beowolf hang the wolves up as warning to further intruders then head back to the farm.

Kalfie before anyone starts roaming around more then they did last night will try to sort out the tracks to understand better if the wolfs came with the riders and how many riders there where. The direction of the retreat of the riders will also be found and tracked as far as is safe with the intention of returning to town to meet with the farmer and elders before high noon.

Klar and Beowolf will go with the farmer to town so as to be witness and answer any questions they have. They will also inform the elders of Daphne's and Kalfie's current activities and that they will arrive before noon to report their findings.

klar while in town will purchase in order the following items Leather armor, 50' rope, axe and a shovel. Costing 38 leaving him 12 gold.


Upon returning to the farm traps are set to the south of the farm. Randomly placed and designed to cause horses or men on foot to be tripped within arrow shot of the barn.

The group takes a meal then retires till evening as they need the rest before tonights activities.

Once rested it is thought that Beowolf could stay in the house with Daphne and Kalfie. So they can shoot what come that way and provide protection for the farmer and Sophia. klar will take to the barn in hopes of seeing something the rest can not.

If opportunity arises Beowolf will press Sophia for more information regarding the farmer. Such as is he her father, have they always been at this farm or have they moved here after Sophia was born. Gently inquire about her mother as well.

Klar will also take the opportunity to have a deeper quiet discussion with the farmer. He will inquire to the farmers family, place of origins. Very gently he will inquire of Sophia's mother. Klar will reassure the farmer we are not here to stand judgment on his past but that we need to know in detail his past dealings with those that seek to wreak havoc on his farm.

Page 8 Sheep Meh Protect Order party

The group after a hearty breakfast head back to town to visit the local physician to ensure the wound are properly tended to. Each to pay for their own and if Beowolf need medical attention the group will chip in to pay for this.

Once completed they will head back to the "ambush" site and track the paths of the thieves to see if they can determine a more exact point of origin and return that they attackers used. They really hope to better determine the movement of the attackers the night of the ambush.

Once that is done a site for a fake camp will be scouted to the south of the farmers farm. It will be defend able from hidden positions and with in a short ride of the farm.

Once done they will check back in with the farmer to ensure all is well. They will be careful to remove the trip wire laid the night before. Prior to setting up the fake camp.

Sheep Meh Protect Order party

With the fake camp set Kalfie looks about for suitable places for rabbit snares, a bit further away. If suitable places found he will set some traps and head back to the fake camp. Taking no more than 30 minutes to complete.

While he is doing this the rest find suitable perches in the area out side of the camp site fire light. The perches will be taken such that no one is shoot directly at the other and are outside of the camp fire light. But will see and be able to shoot any that approach the site. Kalfie will do the same upon return.

The horses will be secured so as not to be easily stolen and any who try can be shot at safely by two bow persons. Beowolf will be station so that he can jump down and interfere with any thieves who try that. If he drops to the ground they will give a sharp wistle to let the rest know.

The watch will be kept till it appears they are not coming or near then the group will head back to the farm and rest.

The group retires till early afternoon. Upon waking they eat what they can and head back out south of the farm. They explain to the farmer they intend to set camp again farther south and spend the night there.

Kalfie in a area east and south of the "fake" camp sets more rabbit snares, while looking for signs of passage by wolf or man.


Once done he will return and aide in sitting this second camp located more south of the fake camp.

The new camp will be set in a spot that gives a better view of the area around the camp especially to the south. It will not be so far that a hasty, retreat to the farm or village can not be made. Nor will it be visible in day by the thieves to the south.

Traps will be set around the camp such that any approaching with in bow shot will have to encounter them. They will be snares for wolves, Large branches pulled back to hit riders or men walking. They will be focused on the east west and south sides of the camp so as to leave the north for retreat or to funnel the attackers into a smaller area.

Beowolf will have a small hole dug near the fire pit so that he can minimize his exposure in the event of an attack. He will be near enough t tend to the fire and make it look like the camp is occupied though at all times never actually standing. The horses will be tired to a tree near him.

Once preparations are made Beowolf and Daphne will rest for an hour then klar and Kalfie. All will be awake and combat ready by 5:00 pm. Dry rations will be ate for supper.

Daphne is getting tired and decides to head back home. She was expecting to cut some heads in this adventure but wasn't possible. Waving goodbye to her traveling companions, she takes her horse and returns to her place.

Beowolf content that the farm is safe at least for a time convinces Klar and Kalfie to head back to town for some rest.

Once in town they start feeling out for some work that pays in gold and does not involve beautiful ladies.
