Well I think one unique thing you will here in Ontario is the word "yous". I have no idea where it comes from but if you like yous two can come and figure it out.

I think Ontario is different also as you have 3 divisions in Ontario.

The northern boys are perhaps most colourful and entertaining to watch. A real cowboy attitude crossed with the endurance of a wolf pack. Fishing Hunting and 4x4's are just well life, you want it you best know how to fix it. Doors always open so if ya be cold drop in. between beers in the fridge help yer self. The environment is rugged and the people are warm. You learn quick your neighbour is a friend and you will have to depend on helping each other. Now moving into such an area can be hard as you are an outsier and could be viewed as such for a good long time.

Near north to central Ontario climate is warmer slightly less snow but still lots. People of my generation and back are simular to those just North of them but have a luxury of being closer to amenities and are self reliant. The generation coming up now are almost non self reliant and depend on the stores to have all they need and are very disiclined to fix what they have and just make do. Moving here you become accepted into the area very quickly.

From the shores of the lower end of lake Ontario to a few hours north you now are very independent of your neighbor and are more apt to view some one walking by with distrust then to stop and chat let along make them a cup of coffee. The reason for that is you are in a high density population with easy transit, wether you have a car or not. Here people one or two generations back have a simular attitude as the your younger generations in central Ontario. I think it comes from being separated from farming for many generations. Here is the stew pot of cultures though they tend to segregate into huge communities of their own nationality.

Diversity is on good word for Ontario.

For me breakfast if I have the time is still bacon eggs and nice home fries. Rember home fries are only home fries if made from left over taters and lots of fresh green onions.

Oh and yes Hockey is big every where you go so as Red Green says "Keep yer stick on the ice."
