Conan: The Game Begins
Due: Oct. 23, published by THQ for Xbox 360 and Play Station 3, downloadable game demo now on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
Rated: Mature for ages 18 and older; content includes gore, intense violence and nudity.
Story line: As the sword-wielding barbarian, players fight their way through Howard's fictitious fantasyland of Hyboria and ultimately face a massive magical threat. The combat is hand-to-hand, and Conan can grab enemies and toss them into crowds -- the developers call it "Conan bowling" -- as well as pick up weapons from fallen foes and use objects in the environment during brawls. Artists have attempted to match the sweeping style of illustrator Frank Frazetta's paintings in the look of the game. Blood and appendages fly during battle, and voluptuous vixens are part of the scenery.

Another game to make sure your children do not get a hold of this Christmas. Now the thing about Conan is that sex and gore is what Conan is about, it is the way the author / creator wanted to market the character in my opinion so it does not surprise me that the game seeks to accentuate it.
