Allergic Teacher, Tells Student To Sit Outside

What kind of madness is this? So because she is allergic not only she puts the child outside the classroom but also the school asks the mother of the child to change name-brands? This is absolutely non-sense. If the teacher has a medical issue, then SHE is the one that needs to deal with it!

QUOTE
"It is terrible for my little girl because all the other children think it that Hope has been asked to sit outside because she smells funny," the girl's mother told The Daily Mail. "She has been in tears before school saying she doesn't want to go because she's being teased."

Hope Nichols' mother Sarahjane received a letter from the school asking her to change the brand of fabric softener she uses to wash her daughter's school uniform, The Daily Mail reported.

She wrote back explaining the brand was the only one that didn't bother her daughter's eczema and dermatitis, the newspaper reported.

That letter was met with a request for a doctor's note proving Hope's condition...

Outside Sit Student Tells Teacher Allergic

This seems to boil down to 2 people having opposite allergies, but the little girl being penalised for the adults health! Totally wrong way to deal with it, and very insulting too.
If the parents kept the little girl away from school, the education officials would soon have something to say, so why do they think it's alright to make the girl miss valuable teaching time and alienate her from her class mates in the process?
