If anyone here knows anything about a career in international law would you please tell a little bit about it; such as what are the starting wages once you finish law school and one year of articling? How many hours a week do you work? How enjoying and rewarding is the work to you? And do you have any advice to give about how to become an international lawyer? Thanks!
I am not familiar personally with the career concerning International Law as an attorney but I have found a web site https://www.hg.org/index.html that may prove to be helpful. It seems that they have not only resources for information but also job listings as well within the site.
**I have nothing to back this up but**
From my experience in the legal industry as far as attorneys go, unless you work exclusively for a company then your income is going to be based primarily on revenue. But then again I am not sure. Also, do most attorneys start out in an intern position?
Are you asking about international business law, or are you asking about international criminal law. I'd guess that any business that is international has lawyers on retainer, but the pay would vary considerably. Concerning the latter, you might want to look into joining Interpol.
