My goodness! I am surprised that nobody is being somehow sued for it. I am glad to know the baby is fine and healthy..

A one-week-old baby was kidnapped in Provo Tuesday morning by the most unlikely of suspects. The motive: "playing house." Anya Cueva had just put her one week old baby down for a nap and stepped outside for a minute when she heard her kitchen door squeak. Her brother checked to see if anyone was there but saw nothing. Just minutes later Cueva went inside when it started to rain. Her baby was missing. Frantically she started to search her yard and house. She called 911 to report her baby missing and continued her search. Anya's first thought was of a 3-year-old who'd been in her yard playing earlier that morning. The toddler wanted to hold her baby but she'd said no because the baby was too small. She tracked down the girl and asked her if she had the baby, but the girl said no. Just as the toddler was being questioned a neighbor found a baby on a stack of chairs on her front porch. It was raining and the woman was worried so she took the baby in to warm her up. In a comedy of errors the woman who'd found the baby and Cueva kept missing each other. About 15 minutes later, after police arrived, the whole thing was sorted out... |

House Play Wanting Toddler Kidnapped Newborn
Oh my what a horrible thing! I know that is why my mom (his grandma) says you can never take your eyes off of them for a minute but wow. I am glad everything worked it self out and the baby was ok, besides the emotional strain on the mother of course!
Thank you for sharing! Even though it was a scary thought it is always good to know of possiblities that are out there.
