REXBURG, Idaho - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints prepares to welcome thousands of members of the public inside its newly completed Rexburg Idaho Temple from now until January 26. As with all temple open houses, tour guides are prepared to answer questions from those curious about the emphasis the Church places on its temples and their purpose.

REXBURG, Idaho - Thousands of people have been touring the Rexburg Idaho Temple every day. But there are also thousands of volunteers making the open house possible. Richard Smith, chairman of the Rexburg Idaho Temple committee, said, "That effort is monumental; there have been over 10,000 volunteers from the surrounding area who have helped in various capacities."
