Now that Mc Donald's wants to give nutritional information will it affect your purchases made there?

McDonald's to Post Nutrition Info

CHICAGO - Make it a burger, fries and nutritional information to go. Seeking to counter charges that its food is unhealthy and contributes to obesity, McDonald's Corp. announced Tuesday that it will display nutrition facts on the packaging for most of its menu items next year.

I'm glad to hear that now maybe the rest of the fast food industry will follow suit. Even though I think it is bull that people are blaming McD's for their problems of obesity. McDonalds doesn't force the food down their throats, they just put it out there people just need to say when and excercise self control.

I think it is great that they will do this. I think all restaurants should, not just fast food ones. It isn't that I blame them for my eating habits, but I count calories daily and if I eat out, it can be very difficult to know how many calories I am eating.

McDonald's already has the nutritional info available on the internet. I have used it in the past.

Mc donalds nutritional information listings are very informative.
With having 2 celiacs in the family, we can just check out Mc Donalds web sites, and as well as telling you which of their products are suitable for celiacs, you can now see how many calories are in their products, to us as a family, this makes a big difference, especially as the other leading competitor in the fast food chains, hardly has any foods available at all to Celiacs!

Well, if it was up to the Prince, then you wouldn't have a choice to Big Mac or not to Big Mac. However, he really should check his own house thoroughly before he points a finger in another direction. As they always say; point a finger at someone and you have 3 pointing back at you.

Nothing like an ALL BUTTER PASTRY to fire up the day!

Actually, this information (not only at McDonalds) has allowed me to make some different and informed choices for dinner out. Of course, I probably won't be having a Big Mac or a Duchy Treat.

McDonalds have come a long way in recent years in the way that food is both offered, and also made. I don't think that it is fair to be as critical of McDonalds as many people including Prince Charles are being.

The choice is there for you to make, nobody is forcing you to buy fries and burgers, in fact, there are a whole host of healthy options available at McDonalds including speciality salads, carrot sticks, fruit bags, bottled waters etc.
If you choose to ignore the healthier choice and clog up you arteries, then really you have to shoulder most of the blame for that!
