This Thread deals with how Home Improvement is handled in this country. In other words do most people tend to take care of their homes by keeping them well painted, repaired and clean or are houses left to time and the elements without remorse?

Labor work is widely available, you are not always lucky in finding honest people though. Back in Argentina when our house was being built, I saw several construction workers stealing, lying and deceiving for money. It was really bad.

Most people (it all depends where you live of course) do not keep their houses painted, fixed, etc. In a country where people fights for survival daily, having a freshly painted house is the least of their worries.
