I had married the wrong woman twice. I was 54 and deep in my, "Never going to do that again!" syndrome. At the time I belonged to Civil Air Patrol search and rescue and went to a training class early. It was in a library that was mostly empty at the time, so I walked across the room and sat down. I was watching men and women I was familiar with come in when a female walked through the door that I hadn't seen before. "Oh my!" went through my head, then, "Don't be stupid. You've struck out twice already." I turned away and the next thing I knew she was sitting beside me. She had crossed an almost empty library with lots of tables and chairs. I knew I shouldn't, but I sneaked a peak at her. She was quiet and reserved, but I did manage to find out she was an instrument rated pilot. We started seeing each other a month later and married six months later. We flew several searches together and have been happy telling each other, "Good morning" for 15 years.
