What are your thoughts about this delicious dish?

Recipe Ingredients Recipe detials:

1 c Butter

1/4 c Plus 1 1/2 tablespoons

Sifted powdered sugar 1 1/4 c All-purpose flour

1/2 c Cornstarch

1/4 ts Almond extract

1/4 ts Orange extract

Cream butter in large bowl; gradually add sugar, beating untill light. Sift in flour and cornstarch; mix well. Add flavorings, blending well. Chill 1 hour. Shape dough into 1 inch balls, and place 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in water. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cookies do not brown. Yield 2 dozen. This is the recipe as written, I have a note that they do not spread on the pan, so I would put them closer together. On most recipes I tend to skip over the sifting, but not this one. The book includes a glaze: (which I do skip) 1 cup sifted powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, melted, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 tablespoon orange juice. Combine all & beat with wire wisk till smooth. I made these for people at work & they were all surprised as they took a bite & they cookie disappeared! Terry Horger
