Ports Shipping Eritrea
Eritrea has two main shipping ports, Massawa and Aseb. Massawa is a fairly large port with a lot of storage capacity and the ability to handle large ships. It is astride the sea-lane that connects the Mediterranean, and thus southern Europe, with the Middle east Through the Suez Canal and Red Sea. This makes it an important way point. Aseb can also handle large ships but it doesn't have nearly the storage capacity of Massawa and is a much smaller port. Both also handle a fair amount of fishing traffic.
