Michelle Obama

On Hannity's America they were saying that Michelle Obama has the associated sub title of 'Michelle Obama, the unhappiest millionaire in America. They were saying that she has very negative undertones and does not have much 'good' to say about America. Do you agree with this sentiment?

Lay off my wife

Glenn Beck: Barack Obama tells the GOP to lay off his wife. Well, Barack, perhaps you should tell your wife to lay off the anti-American commentary. People tend not to enjoy those comments very much. So if she keeps spewing the hate, then she should be able to take the heat.

Obama Michelle

Obama and his wife need to get a really quick and complete lesson on how not to jamb your foot in your mouth.

This will be wonderful for her...soon she will never be more proud to be an American and not only that...she and her husband will be the #1 icons of America! It is going to be hard to blast America when your husband is the CEO...

Now the media wrapped its arms around Obama and he will be president unless someone can find something more than a demented preacher. Trust me, if there were such a thing, Hillary would have found it by now! While in office, America will be a wonderful place, but I have this sneaking suspicion that the media will become the enemy. Basically, look at Bill Clinton's years in the office...should be pretty similar. "Change You Can Believe In" will quickly become "Change You Cant Believe" in the media's eyes.

They love to bring them up from nothing to one of the highest seats in the world and then tear them down just as quickly.

QUOTE
Michelle Obama: "For the First Time in My Adult Lifetime, I'm Really Proud of My Country"

February 18, 2008 8:24 PM

Speaking in Milwaukee, Wisconsin today, would-be First Lady Michelle Obama said, "for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback."

Then in Madison, she said, "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change."
Some conservatives out there seem to find Mrs. Obama's quote offensive, wondering why a 44 year old woman never felt proud before today.

https://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/

Sorry to plug into "the race card" here, but she's not just any 44-year-old woman; she's a 44-year-old black woman in America. And there are definitely issues with being black, and a woman, in America. Likely there will be issues for several more generations, regardless of whether or not Michelle Obama becomes First Lady, and regardless of the fact that she and her husband are millionaires.

I don't think shes' un-American or unhappy. She's simply expressing her views, and those views are being picked apart seventy different ways by news media commentators and writers - and then taken out of context. So what if Michelle Obama is not "all sweetness and light" in the face of interviewers with agendas? Let the woman speak her mind.

In my opinion.

Michelle Obama: 'I don't want to be a distraction'

As first lady, Obama says, she would focus on helping people balance work and family; on the particular struggles of military families; and on expanding national service - "near and dear" to her heart, she says, because she once ran a service program.

Michelle Obama Exclusive

Michelle Obama could be the next first lady of the United States. The poised 44-year-old has worked relentlessly on the campaign trail for husband Barack Obama since the beginning. Like her husband, she's been the target of both personal and political attacks. In an exclusive interview with ABC's Robin Roberts, she addresses the recent McCain ads against her husband and argues that he is anything but elitist.

Did you know that Michelle Obama is on the Board of Directors for The Chicago Council on Global Affairs? Since this was pointed out in some news report, the Council has removed the page listing its Directors (and there are many). Why would they do that? It makes no sense to me.

When I tried to access the home page, I got this:

Thank you for your interest in The Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but our site is currently undergoing maintenance. Please check back soon!

Interesting, don't you think? What exactly is their purpose?

The newly created Michelle Obama Watch website, where supposedly they are simply collecting items of news reports and magazine articles to bipartisanly show how she is being treated in the media, doesn't list this particular thing. Why would that be?
