My team at work and I are having a "biggest loser" contest and my wife has decided to join in. I am finding that I am losing weight much faster than she is and with less drastic measures to do so. She is getting frustrated, but I am encouraging her (and fibbing about my lose amount) so that she will continue to push like I am. I never knew it was really harder for women to lose weight.
