Title: Mingling with established criminals
Comments: It would appear that some of our politicians are still mingling with gang leaders something that the late Patrick Manning was accused of years ago. I refer to the report where Mr Cedric Burke a community leader and alleged gang leader was seen and photographed with Marlene McDonald the newly reinstated Minister at her swearing in ceremony at the presidents office in St Anns. Now we are led to believe that Mr Burke was not invited to the ceremony but just turned up unexpectedly. Well pull the other leg it has bells on it. This disclosure is probably the pattern of things that is going on in our society and that is one of the reasons why the security services and the police are making no headway in dealing with our established hardened criminals and terrorists here. The Mr Bigs are in charge. And some of our politicians and those in positions of authority are just puppets on a string. Its just a pattern of prolonged double standards indulged in by some of our politicians who are unable to hold on to their positions of authority without being involved with citizens with reputation like that of Mr Burke. Politicians and those in positions of authority here want to display their responsibility and honour by earning due respect of the electorate and they certainly are not going to do so by being associated with individuals such citizens such as Mr Burke. They must detach themselves from our notorious established criminals if they want to be seen as citizens of good character who wants to improve the fabric of our nation.

Title: Our trusted Integrity commission ?
Comments: As I have recently said the politicians and those in positions of authority here have lost the plot of how to govern this nation. My question in the light of the recent re in statement and dismissal of a Marlene McDonald, is how can any government run a nation successfully when they rely on a corrupt Integrity Commission to assist them in selecting the right people for the job? This is not the first time the Integrity Commission has come under scrutiny. They again like TTPS has now become a law unto themselves. It has now become almost impossible to find a local organisation or government department on this island that is not corrupt.
She and others are going to be charged later today so she will be fired as well. There is so much obvious about her links that the PM chose to ignore… we should ask ourselves why he would keep hiring and firing someone in the PNM... Is there something to hide? No one else can do the job that Marlene does?
