My only impression about Faris Al-Rawi so far is he always conducts himself properly not using any slurs, dialect or getting personal. I hope he keeps it that way as politicians these days severely lack dignity.
I think he could make a fine Prime Minister and I think he is working hard in order to achieve this in the future.
I hearing talk that Faris is the next best choice for prime minister but he just come on the PNM scene there are more veteran people than him.
The PNM must have lots of admiration for Faris Al-Rawi given that he will now run for the same seat that Patrick Manning once held.
Title: Mischievous intent
Comments: I refer to the following report appearing in today's local issue of the Daily Express newspaper. ''Opposition MP Dr Roodal Moonilal yesterday read text messages purportedly coming from the phone number belonging to Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi, which he claimed was a conspiracy with a man named Mark to plant recording devices in the office of Opposition Senator Gerald Ramdeen. Al-Rawi admitted the number is his, but said Moonilal is a desperate man and his accusations are a fabrication and a mad conspiracy. Whoever sent this message is malicious deceitful and is trying their hardest to be mischievous and cause not only political instability but create racial internal political problems. It would appear that Dr Roodal Moonilal and other selected [..] opposition politicians have now become [alleged] targets and thorns in the heart of a withering PNM party and what now appears to be its fruitless politicians.
We break from Faris AlRawi to share educational moment from the good old days:
