Trinidad Total Policing Day - Page 2

People might have been more sympathetic if the police foiled a terrorist attack or captured many most wanted people.but that didn't happen. As the commissioner said its a tool for new crime fighting initiatives, its not meant to bring the country to a stand still.

Trinidad Total Policing Day Caribbean / Tobago & Trinidad

Anyone encountered the stop and search exercises they were doing all over the country yesterday? They were asking for driver's permit and insurance and taking details for their database.

Title: Police road blocks

Comments: The report on the illegal road blocks by the police that took place in 2015 just goes to show that the police here have now become without any doubt a law unto themselves. They are however cutting off their noses to spoil their face as this report is now going to harden the attitudes of the public against the police here. Moreover the delay in reaching a conclusions on the behaviour and recommendation of punishment for those police officers involved have been accomplished at a snail paced rate, which have given the culprits enough time to alter evidence or make excuses to eliminate them from the act of the crime. I wonder what other illegal activity the police will think of implementing when they next seek a pay rise.
