Sarah Brady has died, the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence has announced. Her husband, former press secretary James Brady, was shot in the head during the 1981 attempt on President Ronald Reagan's life.
Sarah Brady, 73, died of pneumonia, her family said. She was the chairwoman of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence from 2000 until her death. Ref. CNN
