RPG Files Dresden The

In Jim Butcher’s bestselling Dresden Files books, the forces of good bond together into an organization called the Paranet in a desperate attempt to protect each other in the equally desperate war against big baddies like the Red Court and the Denarians. Now you can bring the Paranet to your Dresden Files Role-playing Game game with the Paranet Papers supplement. Travel to locations in crisis like Las Vegas and South America to fight evil. Team up with characters from Turn Coat and Changes to fight evil. Join up with other Paranetters to…well, you get the picture.

The Dresden Files RPG Reviews RPG & Card Board

Evil Hat Productions produced the FATE sytem, which these used to transform Jim Butcher's novels into an excellent Role-playing Game .

If you haven't read the Dresden Files, do so now.

When you get done with that, get yourself a copy of the Dresden Files Role-playing Game and have some fun. You won't regret it.

RPG Files Dresden The

The Dresden Files Role Playing Game is an excellent game. Powered by the Fate system, it is flexible, dynamic, and keeps the flavor of the novels as much as any RP system can. While it faithfully reproduces the supernatural creatures featured in the (Excellent) Dresden Files novels, it does not limit the player to those options. (My game included a were-dragon.)

The newly created Fate Accelerated version is equally versatile, allowing for even faster character creation, while still granting creative options to the player.

That being said, the Fate system is not for everyone. People who like lots of crunchy numerical mechanics, or who enjoy precise power descriptions may have difficulty with the free flowing narrative controlled system. But if your goal is story telling, this is an excellent system to do it in.
