It is sad how easily many people are mislead into thinking Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups are evil. They're just people defending themselves against US invasion. What right did the US have to go to Iraq and Afghanistan in the first place? None!

Imagine there were Iraqi soldiers in the US. They killed the President and all the Senators, then placed a puppet in power. Now you have Iraqi soldiers with guns doing patrols in your neighborhood.

How would you feel? That's pretty much what the US did to Iraq. But, no one seemed to care. Why? What right does the US have to harass other countries?

I disagree. When people were killed during 9/11 it wasn't a US invasion. That was just coward terrorists using planes to cause as much destruction as possible. Iraq / Afghanistan are just the consequences of those actions.

Remember the Gulf War (1990-1991) where American troops forced Iraqi soldiers from Kuwait, then advanced into Iraqi territory? This happened almost twelve years before the Twin Tower bombings of 11 September 2001. As you can see, the USA did engage in military action against the Iraqi people and the 9/11 bombings were an act of retaliation.

You have to get your facts straight. Alqaeda's genesis began with a Saudi Arabian named Osama bin Laden. He worked with the US when the Afghans were fighting the Russians but he didn't like us either. Alqaeda were just the resistance forces then but after the Russians left they needed some new target to get their guns going again. The best way for that to happen was to bring the US further into the middle east so they could shoot at us. 9/11 was a result of Osama wanting US forces to replace the Russians. Well, he got what he wanted and he died in Pakistan for it.
