Who Is Online?

Do you check the 'Who is Online' page? (It shows members, bots and guests that are currently using the forum). Does who is online influence your presence on the board? Do you tend to stay longer if certain users are currently posting?

I check the Who's Online page all the time, but to be honest, I dont know why. Mostly out of curiousity I guess.

I check it every time I sign on out of curiosity to see who is *home*. And before I sign off I check it again.

I enjoy checking the Who's Online page, and I've actually got it opened in another window. It's just morbid curiosity, and the pleasure of knowing (or being able to know) that hey, I'm the only person from Singapore currently online!

I don't open the page, but I look at the first page on the bottom where it is listed when I first sign in just so I know if I can expect any responses to my posts while I am still on line or if I will need to wait until later to get those responses.

I do check once in a while, and just out of curiosity. And as tenaheff pointed out, if someone's online that I know is an active poster, I can expect replies before I'm logged out. That's pretty cool, actually.
