Trini Bandits Rape & Rob 8 Months Pregnant Woman
According to TV6 News a couple was walking on the beach during the day when three armed men approached them. Two of the men robbed the man while the third dragged the woman into the bushes and raped her. They later sought the attention of a life guard and reported the matter to the police and later did an examination.
This is the kind of evil we have in Trinidad and Tobago - no where is safe even during daylight hours.

Sigh. There is no place that is safe from the chaos in our societies. No matter what illusions we may hold of the tropical paradises in the Caribbean, scratch the surface beyond the shiny resorts and you will find inequality, poverty and desperation. It's not Somalia, but anyone who travels can't let their guard down.
