Canada's chief of defence

Winnipeg native Lt.-Gen. Walter Natynczyk will replace Gen. Rick Hillier as Canada's chief of defence staff,CBC News has learned. Natynczyk, who is now vice-chief of the forces, will become Canada's top soldier when Hillier steps down in July.
