Day Christmas Birthday Celebrating

While there are more important things to think about than your birthday falling on the same day as Christmas I can see why someone would be a bit put off by it because the attention isn't solely on them. It might be very hard to plan a party as well unless its done on a different day. Anyways, just be grateful for life!

Celebrating Your Birthday On Christmas Day Christmas

As one who has celebrated 40 years of birthdays on Christmas Day, I am not upset by it, in the least.

What I am concerned by, is how many celebrate Christmas, but have forgotten the reason for the season. I feel the focus has shifted 180 degrees and Christ has been left out of the holiday.

Day Christmas Birthday Celebrating

So Christmas was your birthday? Happy belated birthday. I know someone at work who has their birthday on Christmas day. She does wish that it was a different day but she doesnt hate it. She celebrates it on a different day because of the conflict.

I guess its a matter of how thoughtful the gift giver is about your birthday, you know, put themselves in your shoes. No ones should get a gift with the words "Here is your Christmas / birthday gift"!

Celebrating Birthday Christmas Day

For me, it is more a matter of those who should remember my birthday but didn't.

One gift for both occasions is fine, as long as, there isn't a pause between " Merry Christmas" and "Happy Birthday." That pause is a sure sign they forgot. And if I am being forgotten, someone more in important has been plain left out in the cold

Celebrating Birthday Christmas Day Christmas

My birthday falls between Christmas and New Years. As a kid, I wasn't a fan. Halfhearted gifts, no parties, no fuss over the birthday.

As an adult, don't really care at all. I tend to celebrate my birthday on New Years, and gifts become less and less important the older and more financially stable you get. If I want a thing, I'll typically just buy it.
