Hurricane Matthew makes landfall in Haiti as Category 4 storm
The National Hurricane Center said the eye of Hurricane Matthew made landfall at Les Anglais in western Haiti around 7 a.m. ET Tuesday. Forecasters said the storm would pass over the island with sustained winds of 145 mph. Ref. USAToday.

The fact that Haiti was still recovering from Hurricane Sandy back in 2012 they had to also deal with Matthew which basically reversed all the infrastructure repair, resource restoration, and flood control they were trying to accomplish. I hope in 2019 they don't have to end up facing another one after 3 years.
