Police charge suspect with murder of ex-Saints DE Will Smith
Smith, who won a Super Bowl with the Saints in 2010, was shot dead in an incident spurred by apparent road rage late Saturday. Smith's wife, Racquel, also was shot twice in the right leg, police said. Ref. USAToday.

How can anyone get to the point of wanting to pull out a gun and shoot someone in the head? Even shoot another person that wasn't even driving. Probably if it wasn't Smith it would have been someone else.

Cardell Hayes has been indicted on four charges including second-degree murder in the death of former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith, prosecutors say.
Smith was gunned down following an altercation after a traffic incident on April 9. Hayes, 28, is accused of killing him after they "Exchanged words" in the street. Smith's wife, Racquel, was shot in the leg. Ref. CNN.

A jury has found Cardell Hayes, the man on trial for the killing of former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith, guilty of multiple charges including manslaughter.
