Zero blanks out for a second as the stallion addresses him. "Uh… I'm Black… Cosmos. Sorry I'm a bit flustered after all this sprinting. I don't have time for proper introductions. I must go!"
"A unicorn's power comes from it's magic, not it's weapons, which makes disarming me rather foolish, but as it's what you have clearly been instructed to do, I will acquiesce to your request for the sake of seeing this through." His sword levitated off his side and was placed neatly on a nearby table. "Please take care of that blade. It was a gift and would be uncommonly hard to replace in this part of the world." Lightning looked briefly at Black Cosmos as he scampered off, and cocked an eyebrow. "It's a shame the pony was in such a hurry. You and he could have had much in common, Star Walker."
Domn't worry, they will be kept behind the desk, for your return," She would assure. Listening to Zero, she would find herself believing the young colt's story though that did still leave her a bit confused, yet perhaps Mythos knew something she did not.
Yet before Zero left, he and Star would both catch that the spell she was going to cast was that of a Detect Alignment. Once it was cast, and she saw all was well with the two stallions their weapons would be taken.
She would nod to Lightening, hearing him out, before replying, "That may be true enough, but this is a school for magic. For the time being unicorn guests are allowed to kept their magic intact. Professor Grey can better explain the situation." Taking his blade gently she would continue, "Also, don't worry. It will be kept safe."
When they were both ready, the mare would direct them to where Mythos would be. Though if they still had question she may be able to answer them. Zero on the other hoof, given his rush, may have a harder time finding Mythos. Though if he tried looking for the History and Ancient Study department there may be a chance he could find it on his own, especially if he asked directions from another pony.

"If I had to assume, Professor Grey has protections in place from errant magical effects, given the nature of this university, but is less confident in his ability to fend off blade wielding assassins lured in by his research. I will not fault you for you concern. I just feel naked without my sword at my side and my frustration caused me to be less than gracious. For that, I apologize, fair mare." He knelt on his forelegs and bowed his head low, before straightening once more. "Thank you for your assistance." Turning, he trotted off in the direction she'd indicated.
The spell cast, Zero gallops off until he's sure he's out of line of sight from everypony. His priority is not finding the professor, but rather tailing these two and overhearing the conversation. All without being noticed.
He just hoped the mare doesn't ask Mythos about any delivery or assistant. Otherwise it would look like he himself was part of a security breach… Well, he was, but that hadn't been his intent.
His worries about his gear and the scan assuaged, Star Walker smiles and nods pleasantly. "I completely understand, miss. Thank you for your patience and taking your time to reassure us and explain everything." He also ponders about Zero for a moment. "I would've liked to talk to Black Cosmos a little more, yes, but I don't know how you can tell we'd have much in common. Too bad he was in such a hurry.... "
He then facehoofs. "That's right, so are we! We mustn't leave Professor Grey waiting!" Without further ado, he heads off to meet with the professor.
Aquamarine trundles up to the board in the middle of the square, her face twisted.
"Hard to believe its come down to this."
Something about cultists. What could be better than scurrying around sewers and alleyways, chasing shadows that turn out to be rats? Not to mention that once you've actually found the rascals, they're just as likely to sacrifice themselves in some fell ritual to a dark avatar of evil as to come along quietly. At least pirates valued their lives.
Roaming through a desert, weeks away from open water? Whatever the Society would be paying, it isn't enough.
Here we go. All expenses paid, not laboriously dealing with puffed-up officials, and depending on the size and location of the mysterious artefact, she could probably convince this Professor Gray to spring for a ship. Captained by herself, of course, since discretion is so important.
Aquamarine adjusted her hat and set off towards the towering spires of Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns.
The mare could nod, showing that yes Lightening had the long and short of it of what the situation was. Yet there was also more to it than that though the adventurers mysterious patron could explain that himself.
On the stallion’s words of feeling naked without his sword she would give a sympathetic look and blushes before saying, “No need to apologize, though I admit the school don’t often have those who are not teachers, students, or parents enter… And given the nature of Professor Grey’s situation security is even tighter.”
She nod to Starwalker, listening to his words and smiling before then watching as the two continued on their way, the stallions going towards where Mythos’ was. The school was big though, and it would take them a bit of time to find him, still once they were there most everything could be explained.
All the way back at the board, Aquamarine would make her decision and walk to Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns. She would be able to make her way there much the same way as the others, it not being too hard to get to. Once she is there the mare would be able to find herself to the same front desk, where the staff mare was back to doing paperwork.
