I can't tell you exactly what you should do only in general. If you think the patrol is too tough then look for other things, make sure to build up your character's combat skills and pack on the HP now that you have premium you can visit the brothel.

There are parts of ROK 2 that make you feel invincible and other parts that humble you. We've all been there so don't feel bad. This is probably the time when you need to stop the combat and build your character's stats first then head back for combat.

About your earlier stats, sword specialization should be 10, that will give you a huge bonus when you go into battle.
