Dalnurse Introduction

Personal Disclosure:

Mother -Ashkenazic Jew from Russian/Polish heritage
Father - Turkish/Arab Muslim

Me: Converted to LDS in 1990, 40 years-young mother of four girls, married to a Siksika Blackfoot, (Siksika Nation First Nation near Calgary) member with recent conversion to LDS church.

I've had some major battles, have seen and experienced a lot of horrific things, and have recently come to realize after a long battle with personal demons, that the only way Heavenly Father is going to quit giving me the same examination, is to pass it to His satisfaction for my eternal benefit!

I am STILL learning, and realize how little I know about this universe!

I came across this site, looking for truth and answers - not directly from anything I read, but for me to ponder on, to help another member (fairly new) who hasn't any access to materials or the internet, but found a disturbing lack of "official" church doctrine on the subjects I wanted to clarify for her, and I do not know the missionaries well in my ward, as I am recently new (well, 'RE-newed') in this ward as well.

I have varying opinions, and deep feelings about certain discourses in the early church, and some Bruce R. McConkie doctrine, but need help to figure it all out in my heart and mind before sharing what I know. I am trying not to be so passionately inflamed about these things that the church does not "officially" acknowledge or whatever, but I know what I FEEL is true, what is POSSIBLE, and then quite often, revert to my Jewish upbringing (I descend the Slonimer Chassidic Dynasty), by studying Jewish life and tradition in the time of the Saviour, and using what would've been expected of Him, to boost my come-across. HOWEVER, I know He wasn't always bound by tradition, (Lazarus, sermons about lost sheep, etc. etc.)

SO this is why I am here...For YOUR help!

If you like LDS Based Games then you may also be interested in playing: Nephi RPG where you can 'Journey to the Promised Land' or Book of Mormon Battles and see if you really know a lot about the Book of Mormon.
