Wealthy Rich Venezuela

This government and the last really took a bite out of the rich and wealthy of Venezuela. Many of them left to get away from repressive laws and onerous taxes. This helped land them in the economic condition their in now. When you are economically a one trick pony, crude oil for them, and that goes down in value you have nothing to fall back on. The people who could have helped revive the economy and create jobs with alternate industry have fled, are in jail, or economically ruined.

Venezuela Rich & Wealthy History & Civil Business Politics

There are many wealthy Venezuelans. A lot of them have come to our country and started buying up land opening businesses, etc. I think they are just running from the economic situation there but they still love their country. Many of them are also marrying wealthy locals so their money is floating above the average.

Wealthy Rich Venezuela

Blessed,

That is my point, they are running from Venezuela and they started leaving well before this economic downturn. They started leaving when government policies and taxes became so onerous as to make it difficult to live their lives. As far as still loving their country, I'm sure they do but the government of their country may not love them back.
