This is part of crazy America that needs fixing. That judge was unreasonable, why the house? Surely there could be something else she owned that could be sold for $6.30, that's just a mean way to force everyone into a fear of losing their home if they don't pay their taxes on time.

In other words, the bank sent Eileen Battisti a bill in the mail, then secretly added a $6.30 fee to the bill within the computers without actually updating the paper bill that they sent Eileen, then notified her of the tax sale of her home after the secret fee went unpaid? Now, that's just sinister! It is a real shame the USA government does nothing to change this.

The government does not show mercy for anyone but seriously I would have gone to a higher court over this it is inconceivable that any judge will allow someone to lose their house over a minimum wage amount. Then again the judge works for the same government that took away her house.
