I admit I'm kind of surprised no one has added any input to this one, but I suppose I will try to start some conversation, even as a fan of the NFL in general:
The NFL sucks because of the soap opera that occurs before, during and after the games. You have player drama with a ridiculous number of these spoiled millionaire players shooting guns, doing drugs and beating women. You have an elected dictator no one seems to like very much who seems to hand down fines and suspensions arbitrarily. When a team becomes successful it polarizes the league's supporters into an us-against-them. Fantasy football is becoming more important to football than the games themselves are. There you go. Discuss.
