Did you hear about the one guy that calls 911 to complain that his burger wasn't good?

I heard about that this morning as my wife was getting ready for work. I am not sure where the guy is from but he is being charged for making the 911 call.

Apparently, it was Burger King and he was complaining about the lemonade and the speed at which he was giving him his food. Oh please, if this was supposed to be a joke then it is a stupid one. I wonder if he is laughing now after being charged?

Why is this making news? I hear all the time people making similar calls to 911. Why is this one any different?

Maybe 911 operators want to make an example out of this man so as to reduce future occurrences. If it was a joke then he is a sick man. I hope no important calls were missed because of it.

I think after listening to the call (CNN) the difference is that this guy was insistent with the operator and stuck around to be charged. He really expected the police to come out and deal with it.

Burger King seems to inspire a few of these types of complaints. This lady wants cops to come down and help straighten a few things out about her order.

That is right. She fully expected the police to show up and enforce her order. She was never charged.

Good grief do people not know to ask for a manager and make a stink bad enough that they take you seriously. I think all calls like that should come with a nice hefty fine. I know th3e fire department here charges 2000 for a false call.
