In Defense of Pro-Trump Christians
There are many good conservatives who are Never-Trumpers, and there are many good conservatives who will vote for Donald Trump. Eight months ago, I warned that conservatives must resist gratuitous hatred or they will destroy themselves more effectively than the left ever could on its own. I used the term “gratuitous hatred” because it is the term Jews and Judaism use to describe the reason for one of the greatest calamities of Jewish history: the destruction of the Second Temple and the second Jewish state. It wasn’t the Romans who Jewish tradition blames; it was the Jews… Ref. Source 8g.
Main problem with Trump is missing those growing years where you learn hardship and sacrifice. Everything has been thrown at him in a good way… its all been laid out for him so good Christian values mean nothing. His supporters are just hoping he will give them the rights to demand religious freedom in the way that restricts others as well.
Last night, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump defeated pro-abortion candidate Hillary Clinton. Many Americans awoke today shocked by the results and surprised that Trump won.
During the presidential election, the pro-life movement was split. Some pro-life groups and leaders endorsed Trump -- saying that the Supreme Court battle and the effort to overturn Roe vs. Wade and end over four decades of abortion was important enough to support Trump, who pledged repeatedly to appoint good constitutional judges.
Some of the same pro-life advocates pointed to Donald Trump's pledge to defund Planned Parenthood, to sign pro-life legislation and to protect laws that stopped taxpayer funding of abortions.
Other pro-life advocates were concerned about Trump and his ability to be a pro-life president because of his past support for abortion and contradictory statement saying Planned Parenthood did "Good things."
Today, pro-life America has a job to do. Regardless of whether you voted for Trump or not, we must hold President-elect Donald Trump's feet to the fire when it comes to the various pro-life pledges he made.
We must make sure he nominates good judges to the Supreme Court who respect the Constitution and the rule of law and who would be likely to overturn the worst decision in the high Court's history.
We must make sure Donald Trump makes good on his pledge to sign a bill defunding the Planned Parenthood abortion business and protecting us from funding America's largest abortion company.
We must make sure Donald Trump makes good on his pledge to sign pro-life legislation to stop late-term abortions.
We must make sure Donald Trump makes good on his pledge to uphold and respect the religious liberties of pro-life Christians who don't want to be forced to promote or be involved in abortion and abortion drugs. Ref. LifeNews.com.
In Defense of Evangelicals Who Support Trump. It is usually easier for an outsider to defend a person or a group that is attacked than for the person or group. In that vein, this Jew would like to defend evangelicals and other Christians who support President Donald Trump. They are regularly attacked as religious hypocrites who give… Source 9x.
Its weird for me that some Christians believe that Trump was 'chosen' by god to be president because he is fulfilling the right wing agenda. They brush off his belittlement of people specially women as just his 'weakness' but god works with weaknesses and changes them to be strong. So my question is this, do you really believe Trump was chosen by god?
Trump, Adultery, Morality. Some years ago, I wrote a column about adultery and politicians. In light of the Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal interviews concerning their alleged (And probable) affairs with President Donald Trump, it is time to revisit the subject. I do not agree with those — right or left, religious or… Source 1u.
