Has The USA Overcome Black Racism?

Has the USA Overcome Black Racism?

The USA has a dark racist past in the way it treated slaves and took so long to bring equality to African Americans. The question is, do you think racism is a thing of the past in the USA? If not, what is lacking?

Its not a thing of a past. Racism is everywhere, what is different is the level of it. We do not have the open physical segregation but segregation of mind is most definitely there.

Has The USA Overcome Black Racism? History & Civil Business Politics

A lot of Americans feel the election of President Obama did away with the old racism thinking but for some Americans who still live in the days before Rosa Parks the racism is still alive in their hearts. Maybe in the not too distant future this will be behind us.

America is far from overcoming racism and its not just blacks but I will admit that African Americans do sometimes get the shorter end of the stick compared to other races in America. Hispanics could be right there too.

Racism is something that has lasted for many centuries and I believe that it will never be stopped, I doubt something that lasted for many years can go away because of the ignorant people that still lives around us.

Has USA Overcome Black Racism

Yes I believe there is still racism today how ever I think it if fueled by the media and our politicians. It seems to be getting worse over the last 6 years. Today it seems that if you don't agree with a certain point of view you are deemed a raciest, you are raciest if you didn't vote fro this guy or you are raciest if you don't support this social agenda/program.

I do believe there is still racism in America but I think that true racism is rare.

Racism isn't going away, you can see a guy like Trump getting massive support even with a very open racist tone so the answer to the question: "No, racism has not been overcome!"
