I think this is a little extreme but I guess if you follow someones advise that does not really know what they are doing you can risk injury to your body. I think telling someone to stop salt intake is wrong. I drink lots of water but I also make sure I eat items that have some salt in them naturally.
That is an extreme detox and I am glad she got that kind of compensation. The burden she faces will be costly for the rest of her life. This dietitian is not in her right mind if she thinks vomiting is a normal reaction one should have to cleaning their body.
Like any thing that is way out of balance it must be brought back slowly and in moderation, after all it did not happen over night.
A detox does require extra water but your body will tell you how much is required. Got a headache or dark urine from it take in more water and slow down the detox program.
A detox is really just taking our high animal fat and chemical foods and eating non wheat product that are vegetable and fruit some call it being a vegitarian. No extra chemical powders are required. So this is why I think the the amount she recieved is justified. Here professional adviser ignored severe side effects and gave bad advice I the first place. How many more have long term effects from her program and will never know it was the cause?
