She declares, "What shame I did not get to see the first part of this." She laughs and calls the wench over. "Quick, I'm thirsty after fighting off a half dozen loners who fight like losers and a lion that did not know his place."

The Town's thunderous Tavern Wench insists on the Jump Tavern stools challenge. Of which fearless Melodie accepted. Showing off some skill, Melodie jumps clear over to the other side in stylized fashion much to the amazement of those watching. Melodie uses the Jump Skill successfully and feels joyous about the outcome. Some were betting, so a total of 15 gold pieces was collected for Jump. There are now chants of "Speech! Speech!" Melodie received 49 experience points.

The Town's Tavern Wench insists on the Reflexes competition of which defiant Gwen accepted. Sharp on the move Gwen stands at the ready as all the mugs go up into the air. Without much hesitation all are caught! Gwen uses the Reflexes Skill successfully and amazes those around them. Some were betting, so a total of 15 gold pieces was collected for Reflexes. There are now chants of "Speech! Speech!" Gwen received 39 experience points.

Gwen lifts her mug to the audience in expectation, and says: "I'm thrilled to participate and win the competition, I know you all knew the length of my abilities." She directs now the mug towards Krusten and winks: "Didn't you?"

Charmaine easily jumps across and lands on the other table light as a feather. She knows everyone is impressed but for her its an easy task. She calmly returns to the table encountering Gwen toasting Krusten. She does the same and says to Gwen, "I have not seen you I awhile where have you been hiding?"

Krusten merely nods at Gwen and at Charmaine. She slurps some ale and says, "I would like to stay and chat but I need to do some training and some killing- not necessarily in that order either, but first let me do that challenge and then I'll be on my way."
