What is your review for the entertainment value of the movie called, "Doctor Strange"?
A former neurosurgeon embarks on a journey of healing only to be drawn into the world of the mystic arts.
Though there are massive stays from the comic book, in all if you are new to this marvel world, not to bad of a flick. It's a bit of Inception with the cinematography and Matrix with it's reality based theme but good. Benedict Cumberbatch is awesome. Though his character is very hurried to get into the place where he needs to be to continue the movie, it's worth watching if for nothing more than the action factor.
And of course you have to introduce this character to further the path of the infinity stones, unless you want them to totally rewrite the universe.
This is nothing like the Matrix and its a very choppy movie going from one scene to the next without buildup. I will admit that Strange himself is very interesting but he got a lot of awesome power too simple and too fast which made it look like a circus show. For those of you who got up too fast there are TWO clips at the end of the movie not just one.
I love it! Maybe because I am a doctor and maybe because I wanted to be a neurosurgeon before. Anyways, I agree that the build up was too fast, as if they were hurrying to introduce Dr Strange so people would know him when he appears in the next marvel movie. Nonetheless, I love it! *smile*.
