Title: Surrogacy a taboo
Comments: Yes surrogacy is a taboo in Cameroon because people see it a taboo for one to conceive through any other means if not through sexual intercourse. Its very risky to be expose as a surrogate mother because our our communities and strong bonded by traditional and religious believes. Children born through this means are seen a curse onto the land in so many parts of Cameroon.

Comments: jungle justice. Both mothers, the surrogate and intended mother, together with the child are all targets to be used for appeasing the so called tradition.*Tongue-in-cheek*eople don't commonly do it except rich because its expensive and not generally known. But if people know you practice that, your life is in total danger because its a TABOO.
Comments: I gave birth to a child for a family. When it became known to everyone in my town, I had to move out of town and change my names and I have never gone back. They will kill me if I ever show my face there. I went to a village and I don't talk about it again. I am only 22years old but I did this to help my uncles wife who was called a witch because she cannot have child. I am looking ways to leave Cameroon because if they catch me I will be dead.
