Autism and Therapy Music

Our son just started music therapy at the ASTT. So far, he loves it. The teacher told me music therapy is not about teaching kids how to learn an instrument but about using music to help them improve in the areas of communication and socialization.

Music Therapy & Autism Health & Special Psychology

Name: Zeronel

Comments: I am a social operator and I worked 4 years with 2 twins with autism spectrum disorder. We used a lot music (listening and dancing)and art (drawing, painting and so on)in the approach with them. I noticed that they were more relaxed after these activity and they had given us always a good participation in them. Every day I used always repeat the same sequence of activity to give them an help in understanding the time spending alone from their house.
